John Parr attended the Policy Consensus Initiative's Board (now Kitchen Table Democracy) meeting in August, 2007and spoke to the Board about collaborative governance. The current and former KTD / PCI directors have sought John’s counsel for many years. John was working with PCI on creating a collaborative action project with the state of Colorado at the time of his death. PCI was lucky to be able to share this time with John and learn from him so recently.
