To join the Network, we suggest contacting the UNCG Steering Committee Chair or the Membership Chair. You can also send any questions to Kitchen Table Democracy and we ask that you provide KTD with your university, program name, and appropriate contact information via email. We can accept credit card payments or checks made out to the Policy Consensus Initiative (former name of Kitchen Table Democracy) for dues payments.  Make sure to also sign up for UNCG emails.

Center Membership (Voting Membership)

Voting membership is open to any college or university center, institute, or program that engages in public service, teaching, and research in collaborative governance practices including a spectrum ranging from multi-party conflict resolution to collaborative problem solving and public engagement.

The amount of dues is dependent on a center, institute or program’s total annual budget.

Individual Membership (Non-voting Membership)

UNCG now has two non-voting membership categories:

  • Individual university or college faculty or staff
  • University or college student

Non-voting membership is open to individual university or college faculty or staff who engages in public service, teaching, and research in collaborative governance practices including a spectrum ranging from multi-party conflict resolution to collaborative problem solving and public engagement. The student membership category is open to a university or college student who is currently enrolled in a program related to collaborative governance practices including a spectrum ranging from multi-party conflict resolution to collaborative problem solving and public engagement.
