Host: Steve Smutko, University of Wyoming

Mark your calendars for a UNCG Connects Conversation on the Recommended Readings created by the UNCG Research / Scholarship Committee on Thursday July 23rd at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern. As one of the three strategic area subcommittees, UNCG members interested in research / scholarship around collaborative governance have been working to develop a set of recommended readings. These books, articles, and chapters cover a wide range of topics that collaborative governance encompasses, including:

  • Case studies
  • Public Policy and Management
  • Networks, Systems, and Partnerships
  • Civic Engagement and Deliberative Democracy
  • Planning, Land Use, and Conservation
  • Leadership
  • Conflict Management
  • Negotiation
  • Equity, Inclusion and Diversity
  • Communication/Group Dynamics
  • Cross-cultural Communication

The Committee has put together an annotated bibliography with abstracts that will be available and searchable by category on the UNCG website. Learn more about this effort, how it's intended to be useful to both UNCG members and the broader field and discuss what might come next.
